Appartamento di 90,00 mq. al primo piano, dotato di giardino privato attrezzato con tavolo sedie, a disposizione barbecue, ideale anche per gli amici a quattro zampe; riscaldamento autonomo ed aria condizionata, zanzariere a tutte le finestre; arredamento rustico, grande soggiorno con camino e divano letto, travi a vista; TV; Wi-Fi libera; bagno con biancheria, phon e set cortesia; cucina con frigo, macchinetta caffè moka, bollitore, forno elettrico, cassaforte, camera matrimoniale con pavimento in cotto, travi a vista e letto in ferro battuto ( mansarda ).
I Rovai è un podere risalente al periodo della costruzione di Sant’Agata ad Arfoli. Tradizione vuole che la costruzione di Sant’Agata ad Arfoli si debba alla contessa Matilde di Canossa , e che sia la più antica della diocesi fiesolana.
Secondo alcuni ricercatori la fondazione della chiesa risale al periodo dei Goti e, benché i documenti che la riguardano non fanno cenno alle sue origini, la sua prima menzione data 1230.
Già agriturismo nei primi anni ’70 I Rovai è immerso nel verde dell’ oasi circostante, a 10 minuti da Vallombrosa, fra bosco e uliveti ,è il luogo perfetto dove rilassarsi nel silenzio della natura, dopo una giornata trascorsa per musei, osterie, negozi e vicoli delle città d’arte limitrofe. Tale bellezza e’ rimasta incontaminata attraverso i secoli: cipressi, querce, pini, faggi, castagni sono sentinelle silenziose della natura e dei suoi abitanti, cinghiali, lepri, scoiattoli, fagiani, civette e gufi spesso fanno capolino tra gli alberi per salutare gli ospiti del podere. Dall’uliveto, che produce uno dei migliori oli extravergini della zona si gode di un magnifico panorama sul Valdarno e sulle colline del Chianti.
I Rovai si trovano vicino a tutte le località più importanti, ( 35 minuti da Firenze, 1 ora da Siena, 20 minuti dal Chianti, 10 minuti dal Valdarno). Inoltre è situato a soli 8 Km dal famoso THE MALL, centro commerciale di altissimo livello, e a dieci minuti dall’uscita A1 di Incisa. La posizione centrale del Podere permette di raggiungere anche San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, il Casentino, il Mugello e molti altri centri artistici e culturali toscani. I servizi compresi nell’alloggio sono biancheria per il letto e teli da bagno. Il parcheggio è interno al Podere.

Si ricorda che Casa Vacanze Podere I Rovai, appartamento Il Rifugio, non è un B&B ma una vera e propria casa dotata di tutti i comfort e servizi. Si trova al primo piano quindi si accede con le scale.

Percorso mountain bike : Percorso molto panoramico ad anello sotto le pendici del Pratomagno, inizia subito dopo la frazione di Pietrapiana (520 m.slm) del Comune di Reggello ( Città dell’olio ), sotto la bellissima località di villeggiatura di Vallombrosa.
Da non perdere : Il Trittico di San Giovenale, dipinto a tempera e oro su tavola (pannello centrale 108×65 cm, pannelli laterali 88×44 cm) di Masaccio, datato 23 aprile 1422 e conservato nel Museo Masaccio a Cascia di Reggello.

Al THE MALL, a 10 minuti in macchina, partono Autobus per Firenze Santa Maria Novella ogni mezz’ora tutti i giorni.

I Rovai is a farm dating back to the construction of Sant’Agata in Arfoli. Tradition has it that the construction of Sant’Agata to Arfoli is due to the Countess Matilde di Canossa, and that it is the oldest of the Fiesole diocese.
According to some researchers the foundation of the church dates back to the period of the Goths and, although the documents concerning it do not mention its origins, its first mention dates back to 1230.

Mountain bike route: Very panoramic loop route under the slopes of Pratomagno, starts immediately after the village of Pietrapiana (520 m.slm) of the Municipality of Reggello
( Oil City) , under the beautiful holiday resort of Vallombrosa.
Do not miss: The San Giovenale Triptych, painted in tempera and gold on panel (central panel 108×65 cm, side panels 88×44 cm) by Masaccio, dated 23 April 1422 and kept in the Masaccio Museum in Cascia di Reggello.
At I Rovai you will feel far away from the world, you will see foxes, deer and hares but in a few minutes you will be in the nearby village where you will find a supermarket, butcher, greengrocer, tobacconist, ATM and post office and the best pizzerias in the Valdarno!
